hey all - i'm cross compiling to an arm chip, got my app built statically, but getaddrinfo calls are failing apparently due to glibc not being truly static baked - what's the best practice to solve this? i'm confused by all the older info out there with the different libc variants the past few years... |

maybe i'm jumping to the conclusion that getaddrinfo failure is due to glibc. digging in further... |

so... it looks like my static-built getaddrinfo is plain old failing. i am suspicious of glibc. i guess i'll try to rebuild my app as dynamic not static. i sure don't understand why linux lib devs don't like static builds... |

I started at jaredwolf.com/blog/... I've installed gcc 6.2.0 through homebrew, and I'm using that instead of the osx compiler. |

aneyman Hello |

Is the inline-attribute error a result of my compiler setup? Something specific to OSX? Or just based on some issue with the sources? |
