bleh, renaming the branch deletes the old PR |
# 20:06:41 |
bhundven |
kinda wish github would do the right thing with renaming branches |
# 20:13:33 |
cpackham |
github gonna github |
# 20:13:53 |
cpackham |
that's why I ended up with a bunutils branch |
# 20:13:54 |
bhundven |
anyways, new PR for strace 6.8 |
# 20:13:59 |
bhundven |
hehe |
# 20:14:01 |
bhundven |
yea |
# 20:15:06 |
cpackham |
Do you want to throw in a commit to drop 6.6? |
# 20:15:20 |
bhundven |
and 6.4 |
# 20:15:22 |
bhundven |
? |
# 20:15:32 |
cpackham |
need to keep 6.4 as oboslete |
# 20:15:42 |
cpackham |
but we'd drop it after the next release |
# 20:16:00 |
cpackham |
and need is a strong word |
# 20:16:32 |
cpackham |
but we've said that our policy is not to remove versions that were in the previous ct-ng release |
# 20:16:41 |

MrFreeman: milkylanien: (having just looked at the IRC logs) I don't know anything about 80960/i960 but if it's supported by gcc/glibc/binutils is should be doable to add. |

I think the last one added was loongson so take a look at the changes related to that |

I took a closer look. It doesn't seem like it's supported anymore. Looks like the last gcc to be able to do anything useful for it was 2.9x something. And that's like 20+ years ago? |

Hi btw. :) |
# 20:49:24 |
milkylainen |
Anecdotal seems like 3.x gcc was broken for i960 and it was removed soon afterwards? |

OK something for the digital archivists. Not really something we want to have in ct-ng then |
# 23:38:10 |
MrFreeman |
Ha, that's what I thought. Oh well, was worth checking then. |
