2022-02-11More sample config updatesAlexey Neyman1-1/+1
*-moxie*: DTC_VERBOSE is a wobbler, it depends on whether dtc is enabled on the host machine (if dtc is installed, DTC defaults to 'n' and hence prevents DTC_VERBOSE from appearing at all). Remove the option from config file so that its value reverts to the default. xtensa-fsf-elf: mark configuration obsolete so that it can use GDB 8.1 (it uses custom sources and needs to select the version therein) Signed-off-by: Alexey Neyman <stilor@att.net>

- Pin sparc-leon-linux-gnu to GCC6, again. - Remove "brokenness" explanation from moxie-elf comment (was only applicable to stage-2 compiler, not final). Signed-off-by: Alexey Neyman <stilor@att.net>

2017-03-31MinGW-W64 fixesAlexey Neyman1-1/+1
- libpthread requires iteration over multilibs, unlike the core, it does not detect and build multilibs by itself. - Disable parallel builds for mingw-w64 components; until mingw-w64 core builds clean, I am not trusting it. - Make the list of tools to build configurable - Turn on multilib in x86_64 sample. - Make warnings about tuple less redundant. As in, "one WARN is enough, no need to shout it three times". - Messages about various steps/substeps are more aligned with the rest of the components. - Use 'make' instead of ${make} to invoke the companion make just built, if applicable. 2016-11-29Enable posix threads in x86_64-w64-mingw32.Alexey Neyman1-1/+2
This enables the resulting toolchaing to be used to build a canadian cross to x86_64-pc-linux-gnu target. Unmark that sample as broken, it now builds successfully. It is likely that it is affected by issue #483, too - I see the resulting gcc executable has a DLL dependency on libiconv-2.dll, which is only installed into .build/.../buildtools. This will be investigated/fixed separately. Signed-off-by: Alexey Neyman <stilor@att.net>
2015-11-19mingw-w64: Set it as experimentalBryan Hundven1-0/+1
With the upcoming release of 1.22.0, mingw-w64 is still in an experimental state, and is not considered to be fully supported yet. This change should be reverted after the release. Signed-off-by: Bryan Hundven <bryanhundven@gmail.com>
2015-11-14Samples: Update samplesBryan Hundven1-1/+1

2015-08-24mingw-w64: Rename targets to {i686,x86_64}-w64-mingw32Ray Donnelly2-0/+15
.. and set CT_TARGET_VENDOR to w64. Otherwise config.gcc doesn't pickup the right files for include_next (and probably many other things go wrong too). w64 has been the correct vendor for absolutely ages now on all distributions that provide MinGW-w64 cross compilers.
